CIA provides service to local businesses by picking up cardboard at no cost. This saves money and reduces landfill space. we have started our recycling at 67 nw 11th
Cardboard,
Newspaper and Rags as well as batteries and Aluminum Cans,
Plastic products are not being recycle at this time
Clothing which is not re-usable is used as recycled rags.
After
CIA bales these items they are picked up and transported by truck. It takes
32-44 bales per truck for a pick up. Prices for these materials are flexible.
CIA
does not pick up newsprint from local homes or businesses due to low price of
this product. However, all newsprint, which is brought to CIA, is appreciated.
Labor
needed to bale and process these products is furnished by the men of the Men’s
Shelter at CIA.
CIA
picks up donations from local citizens and Businesses that includes, but not
limited to:

and Appliances

Clothing
CIA makes about 15 trips each day to pick up donations…..and over 40 places to pick up cardboard.
